
KRUGER BIG ASSIST FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The Kruger Big Assist program was developed to help make hockey more affordable, accessible and inclusive. Since 2021, they have donated over $800,000 to over 45 hockey communities across Canada. Learn more about the Kruger Big Assist here.
KMHA was the recipient of the $25,000 Kruger Big Assist Prize for the 2025/26 season and one of our initiatives to make hockey more accessible to the community of Kimberley is to offer a limited number free registration to families in need. Here's what you need to know:
- There are a limited number of free registrations available
- Players must register for the 2025/26 hockey season through TeamSnap BEFORE AUGUST 1, 2025:
- If the number of applicants exceeds the number of free registrations, a lottery system will be used to select recipients for free registration
- Applicants must apply to be considered for free registration by August 1 by completing this short application
- Please note that no financial or salary information will be requested
- Applicants will be notified in early August if their application was successful and recipients of the free registration will have any registration fees paid refunded
